Zooey Deschanel is now on Instagram without her trademark, her pony, and confuses her fans.
Long brown hair, bangs and big blue eyes – this is how actress Zooey Deschanel (41, “New Girl”) has been known for many years. Now she surprises her fans with a new look: she published a photo on Instagram without her typical pony.
The 42-year-old’s mirror selfie reads: “The proof that I have a forehead”. “For all doubters …” joked the actress. In fact, Deschanel looks very different without her typical hairstyle, as the comment of a user shows. This writes: “I didn’t realize that this was Zooey Deschanel until I looked at the username.” Hundreds of people agreed to the user. Another wrote “Who’s that girl …” and jokingly pointed to the title song of Deschanel’s series “New Girl”.
It is unclear whether the singer and actress will continue to present herself without her trademark or whether she has cleverly hidden the pony just for the photo. Deschanel became known for her appearance in independent films such as “(500) Days of Summer” and played the lead role in the popular series “New Girl” from 2011 to 2018. Together with musician M. Ward, she also forms the duo She & Him.
