What is the Zora Outfit for in Breath of the Wild?
In The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wildyou will find a whole bunch of different items during your adventure. Weapons and armor, of course, but also pieces of outfits that could make the difference during a fight or during your long exploration sessions. Among the different outfits in the game, we find for example the Zora Outfit. In addition to giving Link a particularly classy style (except perhaps for his helmet), this outfit allows him to swim faster that Leon Marchand and go up the waterfalls like a real salmon. Two very useful upgrades for exploration that will allow you to avoid running out of energy just before reaching the other side of the river, or reaching heights that were previously inaccessible.
Where is the Zora Outfit Torso in Breath of the Wild?
The first piece of the Zora Outfit that you will need to collect is none other than the Torso. Indeed, the latter is not missable and should be entrusted to you during the main quest, and more particularly during the Zora quest. To begin the latter, go to the region of the Lanelle Tower north of Cocorico Village and approach Ingogo Bridge northeast of said tower to be accosted by SidonPrince Zora. He entrusts you with a Electro Elixir which will be of use to you a little later and will meet you at Domaine Zora. To get there, you will have to go up the entire river and its many waterfalls, dealing with the incessant rain, which prevents you from climbing properly.
Eliminate or avoid the Octorok and their projectiles that line the path to the northeast, dodge the attacks of the Lezalfos to launch counterattacks and shortly after crossing Sidon, prepare to avoid the rocks falling towards you. Climb inland to bypass the Lezalfos waiting for you, cut across the field on the hill to avoid being spotted by the archers posted there and once on the heights, glide directly southeast to cut over the river.
Climb over the large rock blocking your path at the top of the slope, making your way through the Lezalfos being careful of their electric arrows from a distance and once at the end of the Great Laruhto Bridgeeliminate it Mogoblin who takes you from behind, dodging his blows to counterattack. Further up the hill, a lightning mage awaits you, whom you can bypass if you wish: the rest of the path to the estate presents no more pitfalls.
So visit the king at the highest level to complete the quest and obtain theZora Armorwhich will allow you to go up the waterfalls on its own.
Where are the Zora Outfit Leggings in Breath of the Wild?
You will not be able to find the Leggings of the Zora Outfit only after completing the Vah’Ruta dungeon. During your journey to achieve this, you will notably have to face what should be your first Lynel. Before eliminating it, we strongly advise you to take a picture of it with your Sheikah Tablet. Once you have completed the Vah’Ruta dungeon, return to Zora’s Domain and go talk to Mebol on the right at the intermediate level to start the Animal Reporting mission. He will then ask you to provide him with a photo by Lynelwhich you may already have if you followed our advice. If not, we advise you to go to the eastern access of Lanelle to come across another one. Once you have told Mébol what he is looking for, he will give you the Zora Leggings as a reward.
Where is the Zora Outfit Helmet in Breath of the Wild?
Unlike the Torso and Legguards, The Zora Helmet will not be given to you as a reward for a quest. To find it, you will need to head to the Lake Totonorth of Zora’s domain and at the top of the dam. To reach it easily, you can use the Zora Outfit Torso to go up the different waterfalls.
Once at the top, you should be able to see some ruins around. Behind a pillarA chest is just waiting to be fished out of a pond. Stand on a ledge and use Polaris on the chest, then bring it back to the surface and place it nearby so you can open it. You will find the Zora Helmet inside.
