Anyone traveling in Uster, Kilchberg or Uetikon-Waldegg in the canton of Zurich in the next few days will come across a very special advertisement. More precisely on love posters. Stefan Pfister (34) is looking for his dream woman in this unconventional way.
The unusual idea came about while chatting with work colleagues on the construction site. “It was a spontaneous idea,” says Pfister to Blick. He deals with excavators on a daily basis and is responsible for demanding projects. And that’s exactly why it’s reflected on the posters.
But why the poster campaign? The 34-year-old to Blick: “Corona has closed society. I was no longer able to pursue my hobby of dancing, so I had fewer opportunities to meet people.» Not optimal conditions for a single.
Tinder is not his world
So Pfister decided to do things a little differently. He contacted some of his employer Tenbau AG’s construction sites and asked if he could hang up his posters there. Luckily for him, they said yes.
When asked if he had never heard of Tinder, Pfister replies: “These online platforms are not really my world. I’m a spontaneous type and I don’t feel like writing back and forth forever. This only leads to misunderstandings and you have to start all over again.”
“I have already received a number of inquiries from women”
But why hasn’t the machinist’s great love worked out so far? Pfister explained this for a number of reasons. “I’m a very ambitious guy who always puts my heart and soul into it and doesn’t shy away from challenges. So I’ve been concentrating very much on my career so far,” says the machinist. He also doesn’t want a relationship that he can’t fully support. “It has to fit between us.”
Pfister, who also wants children, has a concrete idea of his future dream woman. “You should definitely enjoy life and be a lovely person with your heart in the right place.”
With his unusual poster campaign, the machinist apparently hit some people in the heart. “I’ve already had a few requests from women I could imagine meeting.” (ced)
