Erich Vock and Hubert Spiess are handing over management of the Zurich Fairy Tale Theater after 30 years. Ramona Fattini takes over.
Once upon a time there was a brave woman who wanted to inherit the great inheritance of two men. This legacy was certainly not an easy one. The two men had ruled the kingdom together for 30 long years, and now the woman was to bear this responsibility all alone. She was by no means inexperienced, as she had always had a great interest in what was happening in the kingdom as a child.
What sounds like a fairy tale is reality. Ramona Fattini takes over the management of the Zurich Fairy Tale Theater. She is following in the footsteps of Erich Vock and Hubert Spiess.
Ramona has vision, she is a good actress, she is passionate about the theater and really puts herself into the work!
“Spock” (Spiess and Vock) have been the directors of the Zurich Fairy Tale Theater since 1994. Again and again they bring a diverse audience into contact with fairytale classics such as “Pippi Longstocking”, “Aladdin” or “The Frog Prince”. The current production of “Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs” is now the last production.
Erich Vock knows that his Zurich fairy tale stage will also be in good hands in the future: “Ramona has visions, she is a good actress, she is passionate about the theater and really puts herself into the work!”

Erich Vock and Hubert Spiess married in July 2023. After the dernière, which is scheduled to take place at the end of March 2024, Ramona Fattini will take over the management.
Spiess and Vock announce this in the talk on “Faces & Stories”. The 34-year-old is a trained druggist and first got a taste of being on stage in the theater when she was 8 years old.
She has been working on productions by Spiess and Vock since 2015. Thanks to them, the Zurich native has gained a lot of stage and directing experience. Fattini also worked at the “Theater im Märliwald” in Langnau am Albis from 2019 to 2022.
The next productions are already planned
“Spock” doesn’t say goodbye to the stage completely. From January to April 2024 they will play “A Cage Full of Fools”, their last piece in the Bernhard Theater for the time being, and “The Little Niederdorf Opera” in Theater 11 is planned for 2025.
