Zurich-West: Gourmet pop-up with stars from the cooking scene

The impressive dome of the dinner spectacle “The5” will become a gastronomic pop-up hotspot in Zurich towards the end of the year. Colors dance in the sky, skilfully coordinated with the music and the gourmet experience in five courses. The star chefs responsible for the menu combine 72 GaultMillau points and eight Michelin stars and stand for a concentrated load of top gastronomy. Among others, Heiko Nieder from The Dolder Grand and the best cook in the world in 2017, Ana Roš, who gained international fame with her appearance in the Netflix series “Chef’s Table”. The venue is the Gerold Areal in the pulsating trendy district of Zurich-West, only a few steps away from Hardbrücke train station.

“The5” takes place for the third time in Zurich. After the premiere in February 2018 on the Bauschänzli, the event was newly installed on the Gerold area at the end of 2020. This year, “The5” welcomes its guests from November 9th to December 19th, 2021. A 5-course menu with accompanying wine including mineral water, aperitif, coffee, friandises and digestif is available from CHF 298. There is also an alternative with non-alcoholic drinks. Gourmets who want to forego meat will get their money’s worth at “The5”: the chefs have also created a plant-based option for each menu using vegan, gluten-free and lactose-free ingredients.
