In particular, a sequence where Baptiste Giabiconi was hypnotized to kiss Lola Dubini, and which greatly displeased some Internet users.
It’s a joke that left a bitter taste in some viewers. In the ten-year special of On Friday, everything is allowed this Saturday, January 29, Baptist Giabiconi has been hypnotized by Messmer. The Quebec artist first asked the famous model to have “an orgasm” every time he buzzed during a game of Speed Quiz.
Right after, Arthur asked to introduce a new challenge while Baptiste Giabiconi was hypnotized. “What would you like him to do? he asked his guests. The singer Lola Dubini then rushed to propose an idea: “Let him kiss me!” It was enough to motivate Messmer who then executed so that the wish of the young woman is granted. “When you go to press the buzzer, you will have a mad desire to kiss Lola on the mouth”, he launched to the former protege of Karl Lagerfeld. And a few seconds later, that’s exactly what happened. While he had just answered a question, Baptiste Giabiconi rushed to the participants’ stand and offered a kiss to Lola Dubini, which seemed to the angels.
“If it was a hypnotized girl, it would have screamed everywhere!”
But on Twitter, many Internet users wanted to express their disapproval of this sequence: “Hypnotizing Baptiste and making him kiss Lola is borderline”, “It’s still embarrassing, kissing someone under hypnosis.” “So there, consent, who cares?”, can we for example read on the social network. Others wanted to point out that the reactions would have been much more virulent if the roles had been reversed.“Is it only me that is shocked? [Imaginez si on avait] hypnotized a woman to kiss?” “And if it was a girl hypnotized to kiss a guy, it would have screamed everywhere! But hey, here it’s a guy, so it’s not going to talk about it, “It would have been a girl in Baptiste’s place, it wouldn’t have happened at all… Friday everything is allowed, it’s abused a little (a lot)…”, were particularly offended by some Twittos.
