France 3 broadcasts, this Tuesday, May 3 at 9 p.m., 100% organic, a comedy by Fabien Onteniente in which Didier Bourdon plays a Basque butcher disappointed that none of his three children want to take over the family store. And his disappointment will turn into anger when his daughter, Marie (Lolita Chammah), returns home to tell him that she is pregnant by a Parisian physio… vegan! On the occasion of the broadcast of this film, Télé Star invites you to dive behind the scenes of the filming and to discover in particular why the participations of Josiane Balasko and Christian Clavier fell through.
In Fabien Onteniente’s comedy, it’s Catherine Jacob who embodies the sister of Didier Bourdon, also a butcher. Initially, the two main roles were intended for Josiane Balasko and Christian Clavier. But 100% organic not having been able to assemble for the cinema and being finally intended for television, the casting was modified. The two former members of Splendid have been replaced by the former Unknown and the actress that fans of tomorrow belongs to us know very well.
100% organic on France 3: why did Fabien Onteniente choose the Basque Country?
This comedy broadcast this Tuesday, May 3 on France 3 was therefore shot in the Basque Country. A region that means a lot to Fabien Onteniente. “It’s a bit of a dream come true, because I had wanted to shoot in the Basque Country for a long time, which I fell in love with. I was waiting for the right script to shoot here, and I got it”, explained the director to our colleagues from South West, in 2019, at the time of filming. When first broadcast in January 2021, 100% organic reunited nearly 5 million viewers ahead of France 3.
