100 Thieves unveils its new roster for 2022, with a European size

Whereas the 2022 VCT season is fast approaching, it’s the 1’s turn00 Thieves to reveal their VALORANT roster, and on the program this time, a good surprise, since these are Adam “ec1s” Eccles, formerly of Ninjas in Pajamas, and Hunter “BabyJ” Schline, from FaZe Clan, who join the structure.

A while ago, Joshua “Steel” Nissan left the Thieves roster and later joined T1. To replace him, the Thieves had temporarily found a replacement in the person of Aaron ‘b0i’ Thao, but the result wasn’t convincing, with the Thieves losing their spot in VALORANT Champions to Cloud9 Blue. Some time later, it’s Nick “nitr0” Cannella who also left the roster, having decided to return on CS:GO as an IGL for Team Liquid.

To take up the place left vacant by the departure of these two players, many names were mentioned, including we found Vincent “Brehze” Cayonte, Ethan’s former teammate on CS:GO, member of the Evil Geniuses.

With these recruitments, 100 Thieves also becomes the third organization from the North American region to sign a European player. In 2021, Version1 had recruited Maxim “wippie” Shepelev, which they have not regretted since in view of his performance, and GenG had signed Emir “rhyme” Muminovic, also from the former Ninjas in Pajamas team.

Ec1s therefore joins the 100 Thieves and will have to have their heads on their shoulders since he will replace nitr0 at the position of IGL of the Californian formation. Here is their new full roster:

  • Adam “ec1s” Eccles
  • Hunter “BabyJ” Schline
  • Spencer “Hiko” Martin
  • Ethan “Ethan” Arnold
  • Peter “Asuna” Mazuryk
  • Jovanni “Jovi” Vera (Coach)
