1&1: Hundreds of users report internet problems and have to stay offline

The Internet and mobile phone provider 1&1 apparently had a problem on Wednesday evening. At least well over 600 users report this to us via our fault indicator for 1&1. According to the reports, the Internet connection is primarily affected.

Occasionally we are also reported to have problems with the telephone connection and mobile communications. Especially users in major German cities and large parts of western Germany have difficulties going online. It is currently unknown what is causing the problems.
