12 years after his departure from My Uncle Charlie, Charlie Sheen returns in a comedy series! Here is the trailer

Charlie Sheen is reteaming with “My Uncle Charlie” creator Chuck Lorre for a new series “Bookie.” Check out the trailer.

Charlie Sheen and Chuck Lorre have buried the hatchet. Twelve years after the actor’s dismissal for a series of excesses on the set of Mon Oncle Charlie – AlloCiné summarizes the whole story here – the two men are working together again for Bookie.

This new series for the HBO Max platform is led by Sebastian Maniscalco, seen, among others, in the films Green Book and The Irishman by Martin Scorsese.

He plays Danny, an old-school bookie, struggling to survive in the face of the impending legalization of sports betting. Not only does his lifestyle have him moving all over the city, but he has to deal with increasingly unstable clients, his family and his colleagues.

Charlie Sheen only appears in the series as a guest star, but this return does not go unnoticed. For many years, the star was one of the leading faces of American television. The Bookie trailer, just unveiled by HBO Max, shows a small glimpse of the actor’s appearance.

Bookie arrives in the United States on November 30. In France, no release date has yet been announced. Charlie Sheen fans will have to be patient.
