He then allegedly told her that he wanted to explore the forest a bit, trapping her in a remote area. There, he allegedly hit her in the stomach, knocking her to the ground, before beating her with a stick, strangling her and raping her. The American teenager then reportedly said he ran home, took a shower, changed his clothes. After hearing that people were looking for the victim, he reportedly returned to the scene to better hide his body. He would have moved the body a few meters.
