2.71 is marked by the overhaul of the Féca and the Steamer on Dofus


First update of the year, 2.71 sees several overhauls overlap on Dofus. On the class side, the Féca and the Steamer are fundamentally changed, while the Cra and the Sacrier find new tools. The Almanax also benefits from a facelift, with the arrival of new bonuses and offerings. And for the bravest, the first event takes place on the Shadow server.

Class overhauls and balancing

Regarding the changes made to classes, the big winners are obviously the Feca and the Steamer. These two benefit from a fairly substantial overhaul, supposed to clarify their roles. The Feca retains its identity as a protector, but becomes more versatile with a more powerful set of glyphs. He can thus gain resistance to his allies, and summon new entities on the ground. Its elemental paths are revised to focus on different styles of play.

For its part, the Steamer benefits from a clear improvement. He can now control his turrets in the state
Evolution IIIin addition to gaining a spell on each of them at this point. Ambush is revised downwards, but Sonar becomes an adaptive capacity. Each path now specializes in one area, with the fire path for area damage, the water path for hindering, air for pushing damage, and earth for damage and placement around turrets.

But we also note significant changes on the Sacrier and the Cra. The latter still benefits from multiple modifications in its gameplay, notably gaining a healing effect on the spell

A brand new Almanax, part one

With all the projects started for the 20 years of
Dofus and its porting to Unity, a new one had to open its doors. After the first part of the overhaul of alliances and guilds, it is the Almanax which begins the first phase of its renewal. The form does not change here, but the daily bonuses and offerings are modified. We generate less Kamas via quests, but we gain bonuses for mage professions and dreams. Even the Kolossium has the right to its days to generate additional Kolosstons.

The balancing of 2.71 on Dofus

In addition to everything already affected, update 23.71 of
Dofus touches on balancing PvE content. Tanukouï San, Founoroshi, Father Worm, Koumiho, Eternal Conflict, Kabahal, Servitude, King Imagami and Queen Amirukam see their difficulty reduced. In Founoroshi’s case, it is the entire Foux d’artifice family that is affected. With this, the most engaged players may become bored, especially in the absence of new content. But it is necessary to touch these dungeons to allow everyone to progress properly.

We also see some quests benefit from slight touch-ups.
“The Bandits of Cania” is now easier to complete. It only takes 9 primatons to replenish the map, compared to 15 previously. In addition, the 3 bandits see their lives drastically drop. The same goes for Nascherite, of the quest “An unexpected event“ . For the quest “The trap closes”, Toxin becomes easier to kill. Finally, the quest “Where did the 7th company go?” »
is no longer necessary to unlock access to the Brumen Tinctorias Laboratory.

And to finish with the balancing, the 2.71 of
Dofus comes to smooth common spells. Offensive spells go from 4 to 3 AP, adjusting their damage at the same time. Their minimum range is 1, and their critical rate is 10%. With this, the choice of a variant will be more strategic. Finally, the variant of Release changes completely. Return to his first draft, with Attractionwhich attracts entities aligned with the caster.

Raiders of the Cursed Shadow

From Thursday, March 28 at 3:00 p.m. until Sunday, April 28 at 11:59 p.m., players will be able to enjoy a unique event on the epic server. Any character created from this date can interact with an NPC during the tutorial to enter the event. This cuts off all possible interaction with characters who do not have the cursed mark. You will therefore have to ally yourself with all the players who own it, and fight together to overcome the dangers of the server.

This is both a competitive and community event that sees guilds compete against each other. These take advantage of the progress of the players present to accumulate points. Death being final, mutual assistance is more than recommended to overcome the event. For 4 weeks, each player who stands out as a pioneer by achieving an exploit among the first will advance their guild. At the end of the event, only a small handful will enjoy the rewards.
