2 friends perched 600 meters high… The trailer for Fall makes you dizzy!

Check out the Fall teaser. A concept film in which 2 friends climb a 600 meter high tower…

If you are acrophobic, hold on tight to your chair! The teaser for Fall, the new thriller from British director Scott Mann (Bus 657, Mara) has just been unveiled.

In this feature film carried by Grace Fulton (Annabelle 2, Shazam!) and Virginia Gardner (Halloween, Marvel’s Runaways), two friends, whose life consists of pushing their limits, want to take on a new challenge: to climb a disused telecommunications tower more than 600 meters high.

But during their climb, the two women find themselves stuck in the tower and forced to survive there without resources, and under a scorching sun.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan is also announced in the cast of this concept film which plays on the fear of emptiness.

A well-rehearsed narrative

Although precise plot details are still unknown, the synopsis suggests that Fall will follow the same narrative pattern as other thrillers in the genre based on different fears such as Frozen (2010), which featured a group of friends trapped on a ski lift, 47 Meters Down, which took place in a shark cage trapped underwater, The Descent in which 6 women found themselves trapped underground or even Survival instinct in which Blake Lively faced a great White shark.

This first video shows us one of the two women suspended in the void and held by her friend, herself perched on a small platform located more than 500 meters high.

After Vertical Limit by Martin Campbell in 2001, Vertige by Abel Ferry or even The Walk by Robert Zemeckis, spectators prone to vertigo should therefore push their limits with Fall, which is scheduled for release on American screens on August 12th.
