A 71-year-old woman was killed by a tree in Lower Austria on Tuesday.
In the afternoon hours, the accident victim was busy planting young trees in the municipality of Perersdorf (district of St. Pölten-Land). Meanwhile, a beech tree about 20 meters high fell and killed the woman, the police reported on Tuesday evening.
