Most people desire close bonds. But creating closeness is not that easy, especially when everyday life gets in the way. The right questions for deep conversations can also be asked over dinner.

They are important to all of us: relationships with other people. It doesn’t even have to be a romantic relationship. Friendships are also our pillars in times when we feel alone or because we may be alone – without a love partner. But even if we don’t live in classic love relationships, and maybe don’t want it at all, we long for bonds and closeness. It is simply built into us humans and is one of our basic needs. And it is precisely this closeness that we can strengthen by talking to one another and asking ourselves questions that are far removed from “How are you?” and how was your day?” lie. Of course, you don’t have to overwhelm your partner or friend with all these questions the next time you sit down at the table together. But try one of them and see what happens. New facets will definitely appear and you will learn things that you may not have known or that explain one or the other behavior and make it more comprehensible. Give it a try!
