2023 rates for old life insurance contracts

CNP Assurances has announced the returns on its funds in euros for contracts distributed by Caisse d’Epargne. Nuances 3D, Plus and Privilge… So all contracts opened before the change of insurer at L’Ecureuil, in 2016. Here is what your contracts earn you in 2023.

The announcement season for 2023 life insurance rates of return continues. After Afer, Gaipare, Garance and many others, it is the turn of CNP Assurances, which notably insures the Nuances la Caisse d’Epargne range of life insurance contracts, to reveal its returns.

3D shades: the old 2.15% deal

The euro fund of the former star contract, 3D shadeswhich is no longer marketed, reports, in 2023, 2.15% excluding bonuses, net of management fees and obviously before social security contributions. A clear rebound, after 1.35% in 2022. Depending on the share of units of account (UA) held in the contract, the remuneration can go up to up to 3.65% (for more than 50% UC). The other contracts in the range, Shades More And Privilege Shades respectively report 2.20% (up to 3.70%) and 2.40% (up to 3.90%).

The rates served on these old contracts are clearly below the expected average of 2.5% but also below the performances displayed by other banks such as SG (formerly Socit Generale) or BNP Paribas which respectively serve rates of 2.85%. % (for Sequoia) and 3% for Multiplacements 2.

Suspense for recent contracts

The Caisse d’Epargne has not yet communicated on its more recent Millevie Esentielle, Premium and Infinie contracts insured internally by BPCE Vie. In 2022, these contracts paid 1.45% for Millevie Esentielle, 1.60% for the Premium version and 1.80% for Infinie.
