Everything seems to be going well on the side of processors Intel, whose next architectures are all “on time”.

The news follows one another and is not alike coming from Intel Innovation 2023, the new technologies show that the American firm is organizing at the moment in San Jose, California.

So, after taking stock of Meteor Lake, Intel has already wanted to show that its gaze is focused further, towards future generations of processors that we already know under the names Arrow Lake… but not only that.

Arrow Lake before the end of 2024

Raptor Lake Refresh should arrive in less than a month, even if Intel keeps a certain veil of mystery over this architecture, which clearly only seems there to occupy the field.

On the other hand, the firm chaired by Pat Gelsinger never misses an opportunity to point out that its next “ revolution »Meteor Lake is « around the corner “. In other words, it is arriving quickly, very quickly even, since the release is scheduled for December 14, although we do not yet know exactly which references will be marketed.

That’s pretty good, because… we don’t have anything more to say about it! On the other hand, Pat Gelsinger did not wait very long during this Intel Innovation 2023 to discuss the rest of the celebrations.

Panther Lake in production as of Q1-2024 »

This suite can be broken down into three items which correspond to the brand’s next three architectures: Arrow Lake, Lunar Lake and, finally, Panther Lake. These three architectures should punctuate the coming 24-28 months for Intel and all its engineers.

For anyone who closely follows the world of CPUs, however, they do not come out of the hat. Arrow Lake will ratify the new features implemented by Meteor Lake and constitute the second generation of Core Ultra CPUs. On the other hand, Arrow Lake will stand out by introducing the Intel 20A node and will have both desktop and mobile chips.

Lunar Lake should for its part (note the conditional, this time) introduce the Intel 18A engraving process, but is only planned for the mobile world. Finally, and this is undoubtedly the most important in all of this, Panther Lake will arrive after Lunar Lake, but should enter production from the first quarter of 2024 in the group’s best factories.

If the vagueness remains around Lunar Lake, Panther Lake will be in Intel 18A and will introduce Cougar Cove cores for its high-performance entities. There is no question of announcing a precise date yet, but Intel therefore confirms that even Panther Lake will arrive before the end of 2025.
