In Brittany, the gendarmes tried to stop the murder of a young woman, stabbed by her partner. The victim was unfortunately killed and the suspect was arrested.

In the United States, it was while searching for Christmas decorations that a woman discovered the body of her husband, who had been missing for eight months. In France, despite the discovery of the bodies of Leslie and Kevin, the case still has gray areas to be clarified, just like that of little Maddie McCann, who disappeared in 2007 in Portugal and was the subject of many theories.

In the Côtes-d’Armor, the gendarmes almost witnessed the crime they were trying to prevent. On Friday March 10, the police heard cries and cries for help when they arrived at a pavilion in Dinan-Léhon. But it was too late when they entered the house: the 28-year-old victim had received several stab wounds.

The public prosecutor of Saint-Malo specified that the young woman was still alive but seriously injured when the cops entered. They used an electric pulse gun to “convince the attacker to let go of the victim” she was holding at arm’s length at the time.

A terrible tragedy in the Côtes-d’Armor

His companion is died a few minutes later “despite the first aid given by the gendarmes”, specifies Fabrice Tremel, who went on the spot.

West France explained that the suspect was subdued and arrested, before being taken into custody. She was to be presented to an examining magistrate this Sunday and indicted for intentional homicide of a concubine.

The two women shared their life for about two months according to the first elements of the investigation. The victim’s 5-year-old son was present when the violence began. “Several witnesses describe a first scene of violence which the victim’s son allegedly witnessed, before he was taken to safety outside the house by one of them. The attack would have continued inside the house in which the respondent had taken refuge with the victim”. A specialized service of the Saint-Malo hospital in Ille-et-Vilaine took care of the child.

The autopsy confirmed that the victim suffered serious injuries from a sharp objectat the level of the thorax, the neck and a forearm.

It is the research brigade of Dinan Gendarmerie who is in charge of the investigation.
