After 13 long years of absence, Largo Winch will make its big return to the cinema next year! We take stock of the progress of the project.
The Largo Winch franchise, brought to the cinema by Tomer Sisley, includes two feature films released in 2008 and 2011. The action saga attracted just over 3 million spectators in France.
However, despite this correct score in the country of Molière, the two films did not have the expected international success, despite the presence in the casting of Sharon Stone in Largo Winch II. In two episodes, the franchise grossed $31 million internationally for an estimated budget of $50 million (for the two films).
Businessman and adventurer, mix between James Bond, Jason Bourne and Indiana Jones, the character was forgotten for 10 years before resurfacing in May 2020. At the microphone of Le Figaro, Tomer Sisley confirmed that a 3rd part was going to be see the day.
Who is making Largo Winch 3?
This sequel will be directed by Olivier Masset-Depasse, who succeeds Jérôme Salle, author of the first two opuses. In December 2022, Tomer Sisley confided to AlloCiné that filming was imminent and that he had returned to the theater to get back in shape.
“I’ve resumed training. We’re ramping up the physical aspect a little since there are still two or three stunts that we’ll have to do. I have my director who returned from Thailand where he did some scouting and right now, he’s in Bulgaria. It’s imminent. I’m starting on February 1st.”he indicated.

For the film Largo Winch 3, still being filmed in Belgian studios near Antwerp, Tomer Sisley reprises his role with some after-effects, due to his stunts that he performs himself. With experience, the actor indicates that he has understood the interest of a double, which has a real function, that of preserving the actor”wrote France Info last August.
“15-20 years ago, I did my stunts because I had the ability to do them and I had things to prove to a few people including myself. The problem today is that I’m locked into this character of an actor who does his own stunts, so no one questions whether I’m going to do them or not. Everyone assumes yes.”confided Tomer Sisley.

Who will star in Largo Winch 3?
Obviously, Tomer Sisley returns to the role of Largo Winch. He will opposite James Franco and Clotilde Hesme, who will share the bill with him.

What story will Largo Winch 3 tell?
Note that Largo Winch is a big screen adaptation of the comics by Philippe Francq and Jean Van Hamme based on the latter’s novels. In the 3rd part, we will therefore find the hero, devastated by the recent kidnapping of his 15-year-old son. Additionally, he helplessly witnesses the suicide of his business partner during a live press conference.
As everything turns against him, as his business empire begins to collapse, he discovers that the two events may be linked: if he finds the criminals responsible, he may see his son again. From Canada to Burma via Bangkok…
