Need comfort? Netflix is the perfect platform to meet your needs. And what could be better than films that make us nostalgic? To cheer you up and sweeten your weekend, we suggest you dive into your teenage years. That's why we've put together a list of three must-see teen movies this weekend.
"Four girls and a pair of jeans", to fill up on sorority
It's THE movie of our teenage years and it's finally available on Netflix. We have also read the entire literary series of Ann Brashares from which the film is inspired. Four girls and jeans tells the story of teenage girls bonded in close friendship. For the first time in their lives, they are going to be separated during the summer… The day before the separation, they decide to try on jeans all over. Improbable, but true: the pants fit all. A pact of friendship is then created: the jeans will be worn by each of them for a week. Their reunion will be an opportunity to write their best memories of the summer on these magical pants.
"Clueless", for its 90s vibes
Clueless is a cult movie from the 90s. Remembering that the movie was from 1995 really doesn't make us any younger. Cheryl is also one of those heroines of our adolescence! The young girl, played by Alicia Silverstone at the time, decides to step out of her comfort zone and help the people around her. A blanket movie that will be perfect for this weekend! It will also be an opportunity to see Paul Rudd in his early days and see once again that he hasn't aged after all this time.
"Like Cinderella", for Hilary Duff as a princess
Hilary Duff was THE star of our teenage years. The Disney star actress didn't just star in Lizzie McGuire. We also saw it in Like Cinderella with the handsome kid of the time Chad Michael Murray who was also the star of the cult series The Scott brothers. Then, seeing Hilary Duff in a princess dress, we have to admit, it's something that makes us melt. As much to tell you that the film Like Cinderella is perfect to watch while in containment! Feel good and daydreams guaranteed!
