With “365 Days – This Day” the second erotic thriller from Polish production is finally available for streaming in Netflix’s new releases program. So fans of the first film can once again look forward to a cocktail of sex, violence and mafia stories. However, the critics will probably not be long in coming.
“365 Days – This Day” continues the scandal series
Two years ago, the Polish erotic thriller “365 Days” divided film experts and audiences with its mixture of sex and violence: While the film became a surprise success on Netflix, it received an underground average rating from the Rotten Tomatoes review portal: 1.58 out of a possible 10 points.
Although the film was written by the writer Blanka Lipinska, the story was criticized for conveying a questionable image of women and for romanticizing violence against women.
Starting today, you can see for yourself on Netflix whether the sequel to the scandalous film has as much exciting potential as the controversially discussed predecessor.
