4 techniques to masturbate differently alone or in pairs

In her new book Masturbation, author and journalist Lucile Bellan offers us forty ways to masturbate alone or in pairs and many tips for a fulfilling and assumed sexuality. Here are 4 to test.

If the taboo around female masturbation is slowly lifting, only 14% of women admit to indulging themselves at least once a week (against 50% of men). However, we know that masturbation is a powerful tool for getting to know your body and enjoying it. Mental load, feeling of shame, social pressure, ignorance of their own body … So many constraints and reasons that prevent women from giving themselves pleasure. It is on the basis of this sad observation that the journalist and author Lucile Bellan wrote a real guide to masturbation from a feminist angle in order to help them tame their pleasure. After the feminist Kamasutra, her new book Masturbation (Ed. Leduc) offers nearly forty masturbation techniques to practice alone or in pairs, as well as advice for choosing sextoys, all illustrated by the designer Petite Bohème. But more than a manual to be followed at face value, it is a “Invitation to consider masturbation as a necessary and political activity”, immediately announces Lucile Bellan. A book to put in all hands, of which we reveal some tempting extracts.

Frotti rubbed

Also known under the English name “dry humping”, this technique of masturbation often takes us back to our childhood or adolescence. “Little girl, we use a cushion or a soft toy to rub with. Ideal in bed, on your stomach or on your side, it’s a perfect cocooning position ”, explains the author. A practice that we rediscover with pleasure in adulthood. Some precautions to take however: “Be careful to use a pillow, cushion or a plush that goes in the washing machine and, if you plan to make it a recurring object of your masturbation sessions, use a natural detergent instead without softeners”.

Butterfly wings

If you are sensitive to the glans of the clitoris, this technique is for you. “Put your two hands on one side of the clitoris and the vulva and the other and let them play in mirror to caress / press the skin between the thighs and the sensitive areas”, guides us Lucile Bellan. For more comfort and pleasure, you can use lubricant or coconut oil. “The wings of the butterfly are an invitation to stimulate in a more general way the clitoris (larger than it seems), the lips and the perineum in general”, she continues. By varying the techniques, the speed of the movements and their intensity, the pleasure should not be desired for long …

The private lesson

Here, the two lovers are face to face, seated and each one presents his or her penis and the ways he or she has to make himself come. The key ? Take his time. “First we admire the other’s sex, its folds, its recesses, the color and texture of its skin, then we listen and we enjoy the show. No need to take notes during the lesson even if every detail will be important, and you can use the tips given by your partner later to increase their pleasure ”, can we read.

Two in the shower

The shower head will become your best friend with this technique. Suggest to your partner to direct the jet towards your penis and observe the effects it gives you. “Depending on the size of the shower, make yourself comfortable, your back glued to a solid wall to avoid uncontrollable movements when the pleasure rises and any slipping or weak legs”. If you decide to prolong the pleasure otherwise, be sure to use a lubricant and add more frequently than dry, as water does not replace it.
