They are well-known names that are used to advertise, but the celebrities are only used by fraudsters to lure victims into a financial trap. Unfortunately, it always works and within a few days Upper Austrians lost 400,000 euros to the crooks who were somewhere abroad.
“If you want to be just as successful, then come to our site!” With prominent people like Armin Assinger (picture), Bill Gates, Dietrich Mateschitz and Mirjam Weichselbraun, brazen fraudsters are currently luring money out of unsuspecting victims’ pockets. After increasing money comes awakening After registering, you get a call from a supposed stock market expert. In the virtual account you can see how the money increases practically overnight. But then the rude awakening: Suddenly the assets are gone and no one can reach them anymore! In this way, two Upper Austrians lost huge sums of money this week: one victim is poorer by 300,000 euros, another by 100,000 euros. And they weren’t the first victims – the total amount of loot in Upper Austria alone is around one million euros!
