49-euro ticket: This is how you save the ticket in your wallet

If you own an iPhone, you should have come across the term “wallet” sooner or later. In principle, this is a kind of wallet for digital content, such as your 49-euro ticket. Android phones now also offer such a wallet. You can usually show your ticket faster via the wallet than via the apps of the individual providers. Unfortunately, the way to get the ticket into the wallet varies depending on the provider.

Via provider app

As a rule, the public transport companies in larger cities have an app in which tickets can be bought. Proceed as follows there:

1. Open your ticket app
2. Press the three dots in the top corner of the ticket.
3. The option to add the ticket to the wallet usually appears there.
4. Now you can call up the ticket in the wallet.

Ticker via email

If the first option didn’t work, you can try the following:

1. In some cases you will receive an email with the ticket.
2. Opens the email.
3. Look for a wallet link there. This will take you directly to your wallet and give you the option to add the ticket.

In some cases, not all providers have set up support for the wallet, which is why these methods will not always work. In this case you have to be patient until the provider provides support for the wallet.

Tip: In any case, make sure that your mobile phone is always charged. Because if the battery is empty and you cannot show the 49-euro ticket at a check, there are penalties.
