5 rate bonuses to grab as quickly as possible to boost your yield in 2024

2023 is over. It is now time to look at the remuneration of your life insurance contract for this year 2024. While waiting to know the remuneration of your contract, certain insurers allow you today to ensure an increase in the 2024 rate thanks to payments to be made by the end of March.

Insurers and banks have found THE right technique to attract savers: promising boosted rates in their life insurance contracts, subject to payment conditions. If certain banks and insurers allow you to benefit from these bonuses throughout the year, other players limit the bonuses linked to payments, over a given period.

Life insurance returns: the good and the bad performers of 2023 rates

By the end of the first quarter of 2024, several contracts allow you to boost their remuneration, under the cover of payments. Find out which ones.

1- BoursoVie from BoursoBank

If you have a life insurance policy with BoursoBank and would like to benefit from the rate increase, hurry up! You only have a few days left, until February 29 Exactly. For any free payment or new membership, the saver will be able to benefit from two distinct bonuses. A bonus on payment: up to +1.50% net of management fees in 2024 (and 2025) on the Euro Exclusif euro fund insured by Generali (without unit of account conditions) and a bonus on outstanding +0.50% if the contract is invested at at least 50% in units of account (UC) as of December 31, 2024. As a reminder, the units of account are potentially more profitable than the euro fund, but also more risky since the capital is not guaranteed. Note that Bourso Vie’s return reached 3.10% in 2023, excluding bonuses.

2 – Generali’s Netissima fund

The bottom Netissima from Generali (paid at 3.10% in 2023) is accessible within several online life insurance contracts: Altaprofits Life, Best Life Allowance Rates or Linxea Life. The insurer will apply for any payment made until February 29a bonus of +1.5% on 2024 yield of the Netissima fund and +1.8% on that of the general assets of Generali Vie (AGGV). An additional bonus of +0.50% on the Netissima fund will also benefit savers who have invested 50% of their money in UC.

3- Milleis

Milleis offers an increase in the return of its fund in euros in 2024 of +2.25% for any payment or any new subscription until the end of the first quarter of this year, i.e. the end of March. This bonus is applied to Milleis Horizon Vie, Milleis Horizon Capi, Milleis Life Savings and Capi Milleis contracts. The remuneration of the Milleis Vie euro fund amounts to 2.75% for the year 2023.

4- Titles@Vies of Altaprofits

An additional bonus of +1.40% will be applied to the SwissLife euro fund for the Altaprofits Titles@Vies contract for all new payment during the first quarter of this year and before March 31.

But to benefit from this bonus, the saver will not have to carry out no redemption (withdrawal) of sums held in the fund in euros, nor carry out no arbitration sums held on the guaranteed support towards UC in 2024. SwissLife provided a return of between 1.70% and 4% for the year 2023 for web contracts, like Titles@Vies or Placement-Direct Life.

5- BNP Paribas, SG, Allianz… Other bonuses in progress

Allianz, SG (formerly Société Générale) and Abeilles Assurances also provide members with their life insurance from enhanced rates in 2024. Their offers end in April and June respectively. At the house of Abeille Assurances (for the Abeille Épargne Plurielle, Abeille Capitalisation Plurielle, Abeille Épargne Active and Abeille Capitalisation Active contracts), the bonus on outstanding amounts amounts to 1% if the contract is at least 30% invested in UC and +1.5% if it is 50% invested in UC.

Allianz is offering a bonus of 1% for any payment into its fund in euros. At the bank SGthe bonus on payments of its contracts varies depending on the share of UC: by investing 50% of the sums paid (or more) in UC, the saver benefits from a bonus of 1.50% on his remuneration (and a lower bonus in the event of a UC proportion ranging from 15% to 50%). For its part, the bank BNP promises an increase in its fund in euros: +1.55% bonus if the payment is invested at 30% at least in UC.
