5400 euros in damage – couple stole expensive perfumes and clothes

In order to finance their living and drug consumption, a Syrian man and a Hungarian woman went on a thieving spree. In the city and in Flachgau they are said to have stolen expensive perfumes and clothing in 21 cases.

Since January, the 42-year-old Syrian and the 28-year-old Hungarian are said to have repeatedly gone on thieving sprees. They are said to have stolen expensive perfumes and clothing from shops in the city of Salzburg and the neighboring Flachgau region. When stopped by the police, the officers seized stolen goods from a recent shoplifting. The duo is charged with 21 counts of theft. The total damage that has been proven to the two so far is around 5,400 euros. The duo used the stolen goods to finance their living and drug consumption. Both were taken to the Salzburg prison.
