6 Nations Tournament: the Blues wide winners in Scotland (36-17)

The XV of France outclassed Scotland (36-17) on Saturday during the third day of the 2022 6 Nations Tournament, consolidating its leading position with this third consecutive victory.

The French won a bonus victory, thanks to six tries scored at Murrayfield, including a brace from Damian Penaud. The Blues, the last undefeated team, have yet to travel to Wales and then host England on the road to a Grand Slam that has eluded them since 2010. Fabien Galthié’s men scored six tries through second row Paul Willemse ( 8th), the center shifted to the wing Yoram Moefana (13th) then the centers Gaël Fickou (40th + 3) and Jonathan Danty (42nd) and the winger Damian Penaud (59th, 75th).

They now have 14 points pending the other matches of the day, England-Wales later in the day and Ireland-Italy on Sunday. The Blues had not won at Murrayfield in the Six Nations Tournament since 2014.

Largely dominating, full of control, Antoine Dupont’s teammates overcame their pet peeve, who had beaten them three times in their last four matches.
