27 million euros net per year

Above all, Kylian Mbappé would have initialed the most important contract in the history … of sport. The Frenchman could receive up to 630 million euros gross (therefore around 280 million euros net) over the three years, until 2025.

The Parisian details: a salary of 72 million euros gross per year, but also a signing bonus of 180 million euros, as well as a so-called “loyalty” bonus. Each year, in September, Kylian Mbappé receives an evolving amount: 70 million euros a few weeks ago, 80 million in September 2023 and 90 million after the summer of 2024, if the French were to stay in the capital.

630 million euros would be the maximum sum paid by PSG to the player, if he were to stay for three seasons. If the former ASM player only stays two years, he will receive 480 million, compared to 325 if Kylian Mbappé leaves this summer.

A quarter of the Parisian budget

Brought back to the year, these 210 million euros gross annually represent a quarter of the budget of Paris Saint-Germain over one season, which will therefore have made enormous sacrifices to keep the native of Bondy.
