RTL has announced the comeback of a cult show: “7 days, 7 heads” will be relaunched on February 3 (10:15 p.m.), the broadcaster announced. Guido Cantz (50) is present as moderator, who inherits the long-standing star of the show, Jochen Busse (80).

Cantz said of the show, “After 12 years, ‘You get it fun?’ I’m looking forward to the next television classic with ‘7 days, 7 heads’. Hosting a weekly comedy show has been on my bucket list for a long time. I signed my first major TV contract with RTL back then. It’s nice to be back to come home!”

The starting shot was fired in 1996

“7 days, 7 heads” (also on RTL+) ran on RTL for almost ten years, in 2005 the comedy show said goodbye for the time being. Rudi Carrell gave the go-ahead in 1996. Mike Krüger joined in the first season. Kalle Pohl and Bernd Stelter took their regular places in 1997, Oliver Welke replaced Rudi Carrell at the end of 2002 in the round.

The approximately 300 programs also featured over 70 prominent guests, including Atze Schröder, Rüdiger Hoffmann, Michael Mittermeier, Dieter Nuhr, Piet Klocke and Stefan Raab.
