The recipe for pumpkin cream with poached egg in the microwave

For a light and ideal meal during the cold seasons, discover how to make a pumpkin cream in your microwave. It will be as smooth as if you had made it in a pan.

The ingredients of the recipe

  • 1.2kg of pumpkin
  • 2 tbsp. frozen chopped onions
  • 1 tsp. frozen chopped garlic
  • 4 extra fresh eggs
  • 30cl of chicken broth
  • 20cl of liquid cream
  • 1 tsp. tablespoon olive oil
  • 0.5 tbsp. 1 teaspoon pink berry
  • Salt pepper

The steps of the recipe

1. Combine the onions, garlic, peeled, seeded and cut into pieces (800g net) pumpkin, oil and 2 tbsp. of water in a Pyrex casserole dish.

2. Cover. Bake 20 min at 900 Watts.

3. Mix everything with the broth and cream. Salt and pepper. Heat again for 2 minutes at 900 Watts.

4. Line a ramekin with lightly oiled cling film. Crack 1 egg. Fold into a tightly closed bag. Place it in a ramekin filled with 3 tbsp. of water.

5. Cook for 35 to 40 seconds in the microwave at 900 Watts. Cook the remaining eggs in the same way.

6. Remove the film and place each poached egg on the pumpkin cream. Serve hot, sprinkled with crushed pink berries.

The recipe for Milanese risotto in the microwave

Make this Italian dish in a few minutes in the microwave. Be careful to prepare it well beforehand, avoiding making these mistakes which could spoil your recipe.

The ingredients of the recipe

  • 220g rice for risotto (arborio)
  • 2 tbsp. frozen cut shallot
  • 10cl of white wine
  • 50cl of poultry broth (prepared with 1 bar)
  • 1 pod of saffron
  • 60g butter
  • 80g grated Parmesan
  • Salt pepper

The steps of the recipe

1. Put the shallots with 20 g of butter in a high bowl. Cover. Cook for 1 min in the microwave at 900 Watts.

2. Add the rice. Mix.

3. Pour in the white wine and 40 cl of broth. Cover. Cook for 10 minutes in the microwave at 900 Watts. Pour the rest of the broth in which you will have diluted the saffron. Finish cooking 5 min at 600 Watts without covering.

4. Meanwhile, form small piles with half the grated Parmesan in a hot nonstick skillet. Cook over low heat until the cheese melts and lightly browns around the edges. Let these tiles cool and harden.

5. Cover the risotto for 5 minutes, outside the microwave. Stir in the rest of the butter and grated Parmesan. Serve with parmesan tiles.

4. Pour into the half-opened papillotes and garnish with dill.
