Union Berlin loses 2-4 in Dortmund despite taking the lead. Stuttgart defeated Wolfsburg 3-1 and saluted from the top of the table.

Union Berlin’s low continues: Coach Urs Fischer’s team also suffered a defeat in the 7th round of the Bundesliga. In Dortmund the “Iron” had to admit defeat 2:4. It is the 7th bankruptcy in a row across all competitions.

Things were still looking good for Köpenick at the break, as they were leading 2-1. Shortly after the break, BVB turned up the heat. The home team completed the turnaround within 5 minutes. Nico Schlotterbeck with a powerful long-range shot (49th) and Julian Brandt (54th) after a counterattack made Signal Iduna Park tremble. The long-time Union player Julian Ryerson (71st) was responsible for the final point with the 4:2.

But Dortmund misses the temporary jump to the top of the table. Because this is where VfB Stuttgart surprisingly greets you, at least until Sunday. The outstanding man in the Swabians’ 3-1 win against Wolfsburg was Serhou Guirassy with 3 goals. RB Leipzig couldn’t get past a 0-0 draw against Bochum despite two penalties, Darmstadt won 2-1 in Augsburg and Hoffenheim defeated Bremen 3-2.
