9-year-old child beaten to death by his brother and sister who filmed their crime

In this trial started on Monday “for willful violence against a 15-year-old minor resulting in death without intention to give it“, the two main defendants incur a 20-year prison sentence. They are the little boy’s eldest brother and sister, a man and a woman aged 26 and 24 respectively. Both are appearing in court for events that occurred in the family home in 2018. Little Seal-Evan’s sister took the time to record the abuse she and her brother inflicted on the 9-year-old child.

A relentlessness

At the time of the facts, the siblings made up of four brothers and sisters are alone in the family apartment located in Mulhouse in the north of France. Also present is the pregnant companion of the older brother and main accused. It was then that the sister who participated in the beating of the little boy contacted the emergency services. Unfortunately, they fail to revive Seal-Evan. During their hearing, the main defendants admitted some of the facts, the oldest brother having denied having used a broomstick while the youngest, heard behind closed doors because he was a minor, attested to it. The eldest denies having followed the instructions of his mother who would have told him on the phone to “manage the thing”. The latter denies having asked her son to inflict a physical correction on Seal-Evan. Finally, the sister admits to having hit her younger brother involuntarily.
