After a first blockage last week on the docks site, the Lyon-3 Jean Moulin faculty definitively entered the protest movement against the pension reform on Tuesday. The tobacco factory site has been blocked since the end of the night. And that does not seem to please everyone since clashes between students broke out in front of the establishment in the early morning, according to information confirmed to the Figaro. A video shot on site shows a fight between about fifteen people, some of whom are hooded.

According to the left-wing union Unef, it was an attack by activists from La Cocarde, a far-right student union. The latter, who could not be reached, said he was nevertheless opposed to the pension reform. “We do not know the administrative registration of the individuals who block, nor of those who fought”specifies the university at Figaro. Still, the blocking of the premises remains after these clashes. The president of the Lyon-3 university must proceed in the morning to an examination of the situation to consider or not the reopening.

The blocking of Lyon-3, university stamped on the right is not trivial. From the memory of students, we do not remember this type of closure. “It must be historic”thus launched Victor and Louis, enrolled in a Master of Tax Law, at the Figaro last Thursday. “It’s definitely a blow from Lyon-2”, joked Maëlle, Léa and Théophile, in Masters in Public Business Law, when it was time to return to class. The messages of the tags inscribed on the facade of the building mentioning “antifas”, queer or “Red Lyon” seemed to support their thesis. But, this Tuesday, it is many students from Lyon-3 who are blocking, assures Unef. Students have told us that they have seen opposition to the reform grow over the weeks. “In my class, many are against”a student whispered to us.
