Shia LaBeouf had actually finished with “Indiana Jones” – and the fans with him. But now he was allegedly filmed on the set.

When in 2008, after a break of almost twenty years, “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull”, a fourth film about the action archeologist played by Harrison Ford (79), came out, many fans turned it down. Too much slippery computer technology was one point of criticism, many implausible scenes another. The attempt to establish Shia LaBeouf (35) not only as Indiana Jones’ son Mutt, but also as his successor, also met with resistance. No wonder that the actor should not be part of the fifth “Indiana Jones” planned for summer 2022. But maybe he’ll be there after all.

How among others the British newspaper “Express” reported, a local resident filmed the shooting of “Indiana Jones 5” in Glasgow and posted the video online. And observers claim to have recognized Shia LaBeouf alias Mutt Williams on the material. You can see Harrison Ford’s stunt double on horseback, riding alongside a parade.

A young man is riding a motorcycle behind the rider. He wears a leather jacket and has his hair gelled back, similar to Mutt alias LaBeouf in “Indiana Jones 4”. However, the motorcyclist is too far from the camera and often covered, so that it cannot be said whether it is really Mutt, let alone LaBeouf.

LaBeouf regretted “Indiana Jones 4”

At first it seemed a foregone conclusion that Shia LaBeouf would not appear in the as yet untitled fifth “Indy” film. In interviews he had always stressedto have not liked the film and to have been disappointed with Steven Spielberg (74) as a director. LaBeouf took the failure of his role as Indiana’s son on his hat and apologized to the fans.

It is only logical that the 35-year-old should not be part of part five, like screenwriter David Koepp (58) 2017 opposite “Entertainment Weekly” explained. But in the fall came via “wegotthisdiscovered.com” rumor has it that LaBeouf wants to return to the “Indy” universe.

“Indiana Jones 5”: These stars are there

Harrison Ford will definitely return in “Indiana Jones 5” in the title role. Antonio Banderas (60), Mads Mikkelsen (55), Phoebe Waller-Bridge (36) and Thomas Kretschmann (58) should also be there. For the first time, it will not be directed by Steven Spielberg, but by James Mangold (57).
