John Corbett and Bo Derek have been a couple for 20 years. At the end of last year, the two secretly married, as it has now become known.
John Corbett (60) and Bo Derek (64) secretly married last year. On the show “The Talk” revealed Corbettthat he and his long-term partner tied the knot in December. Speaking to co-host Jerry O’Connell, the Sex and the City star said, “Jerry, I can’t believe I forgot to tell you we got married around Christmas time. Bo and I got married! ” Bo Derek’s team also confirmed the wedding to People magazine. The couple has been in a relationship since 2002.
The actor added, “We’re pretty private people, we didn’t make an announcement, all of our friends and family knew, but this is the first time any of us have said anything publicly because we really didn’t get a chance. So you’re my buddy and now I guess I’m telling all of America or the world. ” He also said: “After 20 years we decided to get married. We didn’t want 2020 to be something that everyone looks back on and hates it. We thought: let’s make a nice thing out of it.”
Second marriage for Bo Derek
For Bo Derek, who became famous for the movie “Ten – The Dream Woman” (1979), it is the second marriage. She was married to actor and director John Derek from the mid-1970s until his death in 1998. Corbett appeared in “My Big Fat Greek Wedding” (2002). In the “Sex and the City” reboot “And Just Like That …” he will slip into the role of Aiden Shaw again.
