A 75-year-old driver got away with the shock of her life and injuries today in St. Ruprecht an der Raab: The car driver came off the lane with her car, the car rolled over and remained on the roof.

The pensioner from the Weiz district was out and about in St. Ruprecht an der Raab when the momentous accident occurred shortly after a train transfer at 4:45 p.m. today: Her car suddenly turned right off the lane – why is still the subject of the investigation. As a result, he overturned and remained lying on the roof. The St. Ruprecht and Gleisdorf volunteer fire brigades were deployed with eight vehicles and 40 men to rescue the unspecified degree of injuries from the vehicle and the car itself. The 75-year-old was admitted to the LKH Weiz by the Red Cross, where the Styrian State Railways had to be closed for 30 minutes as part of the rescue work.
