At the CES, Razer presents Project Sophia, a fascinating desktop PC. An OLED screen up to 77 inches in size is combined with magnetically adhering accessories. And everything shines.
- According to Razer, Project Sophia is the world’s first modular desk concept for gamers.
- It includes a large OLED screen and a gaming PC with Nvidia GeForce RTX 3000.
- Most of the components are located under a glass plate. Users can magnetically attach other gadgets such as drink warmers.
Despite the pandemic, there were many new products to marvel at at CES 2022. Gaming specialist Razer supplies one of them with the Enki Pro HyperSense gaming chair. Now Project Sophia is added. Thanks to modules, the special desk should adapt to different needs.
Core components such as CPU, memory and graphics cards are housed in a separate housing that sticks magnetically under the desk. The individual components are interchangeable and therefore future-proof. Razer Chroma naturally ensures effective lighting.
The right setup for everyone
Razer does not only see gamers as a target group for Project Sophia. Creatives, streamers and YouTubers should also be interested in the special desk. You can expand the table with modules such as LED lights, digitizers for a stylus, inductive charging cradles, THX sound system and tablets. Many other modules are conceivable.
Razer has not yet provided any information about price and availability. It is also not known whether the CES novelty will even go on sale. With the high-tech anti-corona mask Zephyr, the manufacturer recently proved that it is good for surprises. You can find many other CES innovations here on Netzwelt.
