WASHINGTON, Jan.9 (Reuters) – US Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Saturday told a European official that it was important to support Ukraine’s territorial integrity, and that any further Russian aggression “would lead to a severe response” , announced a spokesperson for the state department.
Earlier in the day, a senior US administration official indicated that the United States and its allies were ready to discuss with Russia, in talks on Ukraine, the possibility for each side to restrict military activities and missile deployments in the region.
