The Dyson V15 Detect Absolute stick vacuum cleaner goes below 600 € at Ubaldi, a drop of around 13% on the price usually found. This is currently our best value for money.
The Dyson V15 Detect Absolute does not have the second removable battery of the Extra version that we tested in detail, but except for this very specific point, its technical characteristics are exactly similar, as is its performance on our various test surfaces.
Dyson V15 Detect Absolute
Introductory price €699
- Convenience of use
- Suction
- Interview
- Autonomy
- Noise
Whether in its Absolute or Absolute Extra version), the Dyson V15 Detect arrives without bad surprises. Can’t fault it for suction, filtration or maintenance; the Holy Trinity of the stick vacuum cleaner. However, there is a little taste of “could do better”. Admittedly, it is not always easy to innovate effectively, but the laser is akin to a gadget function and the old “High Torque” smart brush ultimately had more or less the same mission as the particle counter, namely adapt the suction power automatically. We would have preferred that Dyson attack the weight of the device, or its autonomy a bit limited in Boost mode for our taste.
Strong points
- Suction performance.
- Perfect filtration.
- Simple maintenance.
- Accurate battery life indications.
Weak points
- Device a little heavy in the long run.
- Laser a little gimmicky.
- Runs out of steam very quickly in Boost mode.
