Nordahl Lelandais: this reality TV candidate who reminds him of Arthur Noyer, the soldier he killed

At his trial, he admitted to having “gave death to Arthur Noyer, but without wanting to give it to him”. In May 2021, Nordahl Lelandais was sentenced to 20 years in prison for the death of the young corporal. Unshakeable both in front of his relatives and in front of the parents of the victim, Cécile and Didier Noyer, the former dog handler repeated his speech for seven days, in front of jurors, claiming to have given Arthur Noyer only a simple slap resulting in the death of the young man. Incarcerated in the prison of Saint-Quentin-Fallavier (Isère), the personality of the defendant continues to be analyzed. It was in this establishment that he met a woman with whom he would have had a relationship and who confided in a journalist for a long time. With the approach of his trial, several edifying audios of the ex-companion of Nordahl Lelandais were broadcast in Touche pas à mon poste.

In a video broadcast this Thursday, January 20, she explains in particular that she was able to spend a lot of time with Nordahl Lelandais in the family living units of the prison where he is serving his sentence. On the spot, the couple would have had many sexual relations and she would have brought him several objects, in particular “drugs” but also a sex toy. Together they also watched television. And Nordahl Lelandais would have made a senseless remark to his companion. “We were watching a reality TV show, because he is a fan of reality TV. In it, there is a young man called Illan (Castronovo, known for having participated in 10 perfect couples or even Les Marseillais vs le Rest du monde, editor’s note), said his ex-girlfriend. Every time there was this guy, Nordahl put his hand in front of his eyes. (…) He said to me: ‘It’s Arthur Noyer, he reminds me too much of Arthur Noyer’.”

Nordahl Lelandais will be tried for the murder of Maëlys on January 31

“I said to him: ‘Really? But yet, he doesn’t look like him at all’, continued the former companion of Nordahl Lelandais. He answered me: ‘It’s because you, you’ve never seen it’.” As a reminder, Arthur Noyer died on the night of April 11 to 12, 2017. At his trial, the murderer recounted having picked him up in Chambéry to drive him a few kilometers further. But his passenger, drunk after partying with friends, then allegedly accused him of stealing his phone and hit him first. “I killed him but I never wanted to kill him. I never wanted to kill him”, he assured the jurors. Sentenced to 20 years in prison, Nordahl Lelandais did not appeal the decision. The 30-year-old will be tried from January 31 for the murder of Maëlys De Araujo, preceded by the kidnapping and sequestration of the 8-year-old girl.
