TO ANALYSE – A first version of the CPA, with training, hardship and civic engagement accounts, came into force in 2017.
We don’t talk about him anymore and yet he is still there. Presented by President François Hollande as “the most important reform” of his five-year term, the personal activity account (CPA) was intended to allow all employees, both private and public, to control their professional career by bringing together their rights, in particular to training, on the same account linked to the person and no longer to his status. A “social rucksack” that would follow workers throughout their lives, even if they changed company, or even status (employee, self-employed, etc.).
