Cameras were discovered on the public highway, in front of the home of the father of Julien Le Guet, a figure of the opponents of water reservoirs in the Poitevin marshes. The prefecture invokes a “security” mission before a demonstration this weekend.

The two activists decided to move the equipment to install it in the middle of the Poitevin marshes (Deux-Sèvres) and film the biodiversity of the environment there. “Perhaps we will be able to reconnect the prefect to nature”insists Julien Le Guet to Release.
For months, environmental activists gathered in this collective, alongside the Confédération paysanne, the Uprisings of the earth, Attac, the League for the protection of birds, or even the FSU union, have been opposed to construction in the former Poitou-Charentes (Charente, Charente-Maritime, Deux-Sèvres and Vienne) of 93 basins, these water reservoirs also called “substitution reserves” by their supporters.
