We mentioned it on the occasion of the release of the firmware V38 (see article), Meta gradually fades the mark Oculus. After the software part, it is now with the hardware that Meta continues its process of repositioning by integrating its logo on the cardboard packaging, the helmet VR and even controllers.
It’s through the accounts Twitter of BMFVRof Sanagimisayama or even of DarkSwitchPro that we discover the first photos of the new packaging of Quest 2. The logo Oculus gave way to that of Meta. We can see it on the new box, but also on the headset itself as well as the controllers. Nothing too transcendent, but the transition is now physically anchored in hardware as you can see in the images below:
