We had almost forgotten it. It must be said that since its betas last year, Roller Champions had been discreet, very discreet, even during the financial statements ofUbisoft. What leave us worried about the health of the project, but surprise, the game resurfaced today to announce good news: its development is finally over.
A surprise outing approaching?
Greetings, Champions!

Keep your eyes open as we will be sharing more on our launch date soon. ? pic.twitter.com/O1xhUugIqQ— Roller Champions (@RollerChampions) April 20, 2022
There has been no activity around the game since last year, but Ubisoft seems to be finally ready to release its sports game. At least that’s what we learn on the game’s official Twitter account, where we discover that Roller Champions just went gold. This means that its development is complete, and it is ready for release.
However, no release date in sight, which makes this communication even stranger. But we are informed that we will be kept informed of the date very soon. We therefore imagine that Ubisoft wishes to offer its title a surprise release, like Hyperscape at the time. Now it remains to be seen when.
Generally, a title goes gold a few weeks before its release. Can we therefore plan a Ubisoft Forward by then with a release in stride for the title? Knowing that rumors about a speech from the publisher before the summer were spinning recently, anything is possible.
