The Crown: Emma Corrin understands the critics

The royal family is said to be "not amused" and there are other criticisms of "The Crown". Diana actress Emma Corrin can understand this.

The fourth season of "The Crown" has been on Netflix since November 15th. The popular series, among other things, with its portrayal of Princess Diana (1961-1997) causes criticism from some fans and the British royal family is said to be not at all happy. The young British actress Emma Corrin (24), who embodies Princess Diana, can understand that.

She understands "why people get angry"

When asked how she reacts to the criticism of the series and its portrayal, Corrin replied diplomatically in a video interview on the American "Tamron Hall Show". Everyone involved in the production of "The Crown" tries to "remind everyone that who we are and the series we are in is in large part fiction." Of course, the whole thing has roots in reality and is based on "some facts", but the plot of the series is just made up.

"At the same time, I understand why people might get angry," Corrin continued. After all, it was basically a story that was not too long ago. "We approach these people that we play as characters," said the actress. That's why it's an "enjoyable job" for everyone, because the characters are so complex.
