Pixel 7 Pro: the smartphone already unboxed on video before its official launch

As surprising as it may seem, the Pixel 7 Pro, the next high-end smartphone from Google, has already been unboxed on video while the device has still not been officially presented by the manufacturer.

Google’s reputation for privacy on its new devices is well established. It’s not uncommon to see the manufacturer’s products fall into the hands of users before launch and be unboxed before their time, and that’s exactly what just happened to the Pixel 7 Pro, its next high-end smartphone.

Indeed, Gadgetfull BD, a retail store in Bangladesh, has already been able to get his hands on a copy of the Pixel 7 Pro, and did not hesitate to unbox it on video. This is not the first time that we have seen the device, since a prototype of the Pixel 7 Pro had already been handled by a user in June.

The Pixel 7 Pro is already taken in hand before its release

The video itself unfortunately doesn’t reveal much about the Pixel 7 Pro. The phone shown is comes in a black colorway and looks exactly like the Pixel 7 Pro that Google showed off months ago at its annual Google I/O 2022 conference.

On the back of the device, we can note the presence of the Google logo, which confirms that it is indeed a final device and not a prototype. The box features materials similar to those found with Pixel 6 series devices, so no surprises on that side.

The device boots up and displays a “Welcome to your Pixel” splash screen. We always find a camera housed in a punch at the top of the screen. Speaking of the screen, the latter seems slightly less curved than the previous generationwhich will probably delight many users.

Regarding the accessories in the box, you will probably have to settle for a simple USB-C cable. As a reminder, Google had removed the power adapter from the boxes of its smartphones since the release of the Pixel 6 last year, so we unfortunately did not expect it to return to this generation.
