A viking story
We are going to be frank, but the classification was quite difficult to do as the characters we are going to present to you are all charismatic. So, for this 5th place and therefore for the bottom of this top, we start with Eivor, the viking from Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Yes, how can we not talk about him when he certainly has one of the most beautiful beards in video games.
For the record, Eivor is therefore the protagonist of the Ubisoft title, and is therefore a Norwegian Viking who must go to Great Britain in order to find new lands but also new resources for his people. The particularity in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is that we don’t have one but two characters, and we can therefore decide to play with a male Eivor, or a female Eivor.

How to make a ranking without talking about Arthur Morgan, the hero of Red Dead Redemption 2? Released in 2018, the Rockstar Games title won a lot of awards, even if it was not elected GOTY, and the game obviously marked the players, both by its story and by its central character who is therefore Arthur Morgan.
You know us, but we don’t want to spoil anything for you if you haven’t played the game yet, but for the record, Arthur Morgan is therefore the protagonist of Red Dead Redemption 2, and he is above all a man of his word and a man ready to do anything to save his family, those he loves, whatever the cost.

For this 3rd place, who better than Kratos, the protagonist of the God of War series? Although in the first opuses the latter was rather young and had only a small goatee, it is in the title of 2018 that the latter arrived more mature than ever and above all, endowed with a well-trimmed beard, would be the age of wisdom, or rather the beard of wisdom? Well it could be so.

Will you take a bath with Geralt?
In second place on this podium, we find the hero and sometimes even the fantasy of several people, from the saga The Witcher with none other than Geralt of Rivia. Even if we had to wait a little bit before seeing him appear with a beard, our favorite witcher could not be absent from this ranking.
A true icon of the video game world, the latter has apparently had its day since it will not be at the center of the next opus which is already in preparation on the side of CD Projekt Red. It will indeed be a whole new narrative arc with a new character, and we hope that he or she will live up to our Geralt of Rivia.
Don’t you think Joel deserves this spot?
It is without too much surprise that we find at the head of this ranking, Joel Miller, one of the protagonists of the wonderful license The Last of Us. True paternal image and man of convictions, who hasn’t fallen for Joel and his beard, sincerely? In addition to being incredibly charismatic, hides behind his stern air sometimes a real heart and feelings, and this unfortunately earned him a very bad surprise… (it’s very hard to get over it…) .
As a reminder, you can enjoy Joel and his pretty beard through the fresh The Last of Us Part 1 which is therefore available exclusively (for the moment) on PS5 since September 2. This is the remake of the opus released in 2013, and benefits from completely new graphics and all under a new graphics engine specific to the Playstation 5.
