September 16 (Reuters) – The prosecutor general of the People’s Republic of Luhansk in eastern Ukraine and his deputy were killed when a bomb exploded in their office on Friday, the head of the prosecutor’s office said. self-proclaimed republic backed by Russia.
“Today, as a result of a terrorist act, Prosecutor General Sergei Gorenko and his deputy Ekaterina Steglenko were killed,” Leonid Pasetchnik said in a statement broadcast on Telegram messaging.
