Nicolas Puschmann became known as the first “Prince Charming” in 2019. Now the reality star takes a seat on the couch on GALA on TV and answers questions from presenter Annika Lau – he also talks about his desire to have children and reveals how he wants to find his old form again.

Nicolas Puschmann, 31, was the first gay man to look for his great love on the dating show “Prince Charming” and chose Lars Tönsfeuerborn, 32, in the finale of the show. After a brief separation in November 2020, the two got back together and announced that they keep their relationship out of the public eye from now on. But in September 2021, the final love followed. At GALA on TV, Nicolas now talks to Annika Lau, 43, not only about being single and wanting to have children, but also about his body.

Nicolas Puschmann: “I would not have had sex with myself”

At the time of “Prince Charming” you saw the 31-year-old in his best form. A level that he could no longer maintain after that, because: “I’ve lost touch with reality a bit and you see yourself in the mirror every day and you enjoy life and you eat and eat and eat.” But at some point the point was reached that he no longer liked himself. “And then it was over for me. I just couldn’t look at myself anymore,” he admits in an interview with Annika. “I no longer found myself erotic. Well, I wouldn’t have had sex with myself now.”

As long as you feel sexy in your own skin, no matter your size, that’s “fabulous,” he continues, but “if you don’t feel good anymore, then you should do something.”

Now Puschmann wants to work on his fitness again, but he has not planned a tight sports and nutrition program like he did for the TV production “Prince Charming”. “I weighed 81 kilos. I’ve never looked like that and I probably never will look like that again,” he believes. “To look like this, I exercised twice a day for six weeks, swimming in the morning and CrossFit at night. I ate a grainy cream cheese in the morning, 300 grams of chicken for lunch and six eggs for dinner.”

To prevent the yo-yo effect, Nicolas is trying a more relaxed approach this time: “I just want to show how the body can change with wholesome food. So, of course, with healthy food, also be a bit of a bon vivant. Of course a little wine here too, everyone likes it. But what can we do if we still eat wholesome food.”

Nicolas Puschmann on his desire to have children: “It was always a 50:50 thought for me”

Nicolas Puschmann has been enjoying single life for almost exactly a year. He is still concerned about his future love life and family planning, as he reveals to Annika Lau. When asked if he would like to have children, he says thoughtfully: “It was always a 50:50 thought for me. Of course, you could talk about it with the right partner. But I think I’m more the dear uncle, who slips a tenner, who enlightens, who does cool things and is actually always popular.” He also reveals whether he is ready for a new love and how he coped with the separation from Lars.

Viewers can see the entire conversation between Nicolas Puschmann and GALA presenter Annika Lau on October 1, 2022 from 5:45 p.m. on RTL or at any time on RTL+.
