Activity 9 months
At the end of the nine months of the financial year, the activity
Bogart Fragrances & Cosmetics
generates revenue of €37.1 million as of September 30, 2022 compared to €27.5 million as of September 30, 2021, up sharply by +34.9% (+30.9% at constant exchange rates). Activity remained dynamic in 3
th
quarter in Western Europe, North America and the Middle East, while the Russia and Eastern Europe zones continue to be significantly slowed down given the current context. The new “Marvellous Recipe” cosmetic products from the Stendhal brand have been very well received, while the new fragrances of the Group’s flagship brands (Bogart and Carven in particular) are currently being launched and will therefore contribute to the turnover of the 4
th
trimester.
The activity
Bogart Beauty Retail
posted 9-month revenue of €161.3 million compared to €134.2 million, up +20.2% and benefited from the expansion of the scope with the integration of the Nocibé and Fann stores (Slovakia)

and a favorable currency effect. At constant scope and exchange rates, growth was virtually stable at -0.6%. The 3
th
quarter of 2022 was down on the organic scope (-6%) in the current inflationary context.
At the end of these nine months, BOGART’s sales amounted to €198.4 million compared to €161.7 million at September 30, 2021, up sharply by +22.7% (+5.7% at perimeter and constant exchange rates).
Good momentum of launches in 4
th
quarter on both activities
Bogart is currently launching its new fragrances on its key brands:
Carven
(feminine perfume),
Jacques Bogart
(male fragrance) and also
Ted Lapidus
(women’s fragrance) who will participate in the growth of the division

quarter 2022.
Bogart remains cautious about the continued contraction of activity in its store network given the current context, even if the Group recalls that the 4
th
quarter is usually a higher quarter in terms of revenue and profitability for the division
Bogart Beauty Retail
given the end-of-year celebrations and the new launches underway on its flagship brands.
The company has just launched in the April network in France, Belgium and Luxembourg its first range of natural hair products resulting from its partnership with Slimane

, French singer-songwriter and singer, called Cousin.es These products will later be launched in selective perfumeries in Dubai and other European markets. Finally, the brand

will also continue to roll out its 500 make-up references in its network of stores in Israel and Slovakia.
BOGART remains attentive to the current inflationary context which weighs on costs (rise in raw materials and energy) but confirms its financial ambitions of an increase in its annual turnover and its EBITDA for the 2022 financial year.
